Carlos Miele

4,500 SF transformation of a former Meatpacking District space into a stunning retail flagship for Brazilian designer Carlos Miele. The interior features oversized, curved sculptural forms cut on CNC machines and assembled in pieces on site with Bondo to create undulating displays and seating, some over 30’ in length. Scope also included a Barrisol ceiling, epoxy floors, custom hinged metal and glass fitting room doors, lighting, MEPS/FA, and a new metal and glass storefront. The first realized project designed by renowned architects, LiseAnn Couture and Hani Rashid of Asymptote, this groundbreaking store won Architectural Record, Contract Retail Interiors and VMSD Store of the Year awards.
