Chef JJ Johnson of FIELDTRIP nominated for a 2024 James Beard Award

Chef JJ Johnson, owner of FIELD TRIP and a client of Vanguard’s, has been nominated for the James Beard Foundation’s 2024 Best Chef in New York State Award! This is Chef JJ’s third nomination after opening three FIELD TRIP locations and authoring two books about the art of rice.

A shortlist of finalists will be announced April 3, with the winners being announced at a ceremony on June 10. Best of luck to Chef JJ and the rest of the nominees!
