Betty Shabazz Community Healthcare Network

The 3,560 SF ground-up clinic constructed for the Community Healthcare Network honors Betty Shabazz with a colorful, double-height mural visible through the new curtain wall and metal paneled facade from street level. The two-story building features six exam rooms, dental rooms, waiting areas, nurses stations, offices, corridors and handicapped restrooms. Scope includes health-grade vinyl floors and ceilings, glass walls, millwork, lighting, doors, hardware, coordination with medical equipment and IT systems, dedicated MEPS/FA, new foundation, steel structure and slab, roof, canopy, elevator, stairs, pavement and signage. Vanguard is proud to build a healthcare center which doubles CHN’s patient capacity and supports their nutrition counseling, health education, and Health Home care coordination programs.
