Andrew Mann

Superintendent

Andrew began his career as a professional carpenter before working up the ranks to his current position as super at Vanguard. Dedicated to smart building, he brings a pragmatic, timely focus to all of his jobs. Andrew’s passion for building is rooted in a desire to work with his hands. The most complex projects engage him most. He enjoys the community of working at Vanguard, where different personalities and points of expertise create a team––with Andrew as on-site point man––to deliver and exceptionally built spaces, amid a sense of fun.

“Construction is a pretty cool universe with lots of different challenges and also opportunities for success.”

— Andrew Mann

Andrew studied Liberal Arts at Tulane University and the University of Texas, Austin. He not only apprenticed at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners but worked in the French Carpenter’s Guild in cities across France before studying management at the Nantes Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Contributing a worldly outlook to his projects, Andrew appreciates how each is rewarding and special, or as the French would say, hyper-cool!
