Jeff Stern

Jeff joined Vanguard in August 2024, bring over 30 years of successful design and management experience  in both the private and public sectors. His extensive new construction and renovation experience with commercial, mission-critical facilities, and occupied school buildings provide him with the ability to coordinate large- and small-scale construction projects. As a specialist in fire protection, he further provides expertise in mechanical systems which are a critical component of a building. Throughout his career, Jeff has personally been involved in all aspects of the construction management process. From the commencement of the project through its completion, he maintains a constant dialogue with his clients and  firm control over his designated personnel to ensure total job coordination, to assure adherence to the project ‘s budget and to achieve quality workmanship.

Jeff obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from SUNY Plattsburgh. He is a LEED AP and a licensed Master Fire Suppression Contractor. Jeff is the founding member of the LI Chapter of the USGBC and sits on the board of various charitable foundations, including the LI Council of the American Kidney Foundation and the Harry Chapin Foundation.
