Taykut Girit

Taykut  joined Vanguard in 2024, bringing with him over 10 years of interior, exterior, and structural construction and civil engineering experience. Prior to joining Vanguard, Taykut held a variety of positions, from Intern to Project Engineer to Project Manager, for major construction companies like KSK and Omnibuild.  He specializes in high-end hospitality projects, including the largest Hilton hotel built in NYC since 1985. As a Project Manager, Taykut consistently steers projects of varying scales and scope, ensuring timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and top-notch quality. His expertise spans across construction management,  project planning, contract administration, risk mitigation, and effective stakeholder communication. He executes all phases of the construction process to the highest professional standards and prides himself on maintaining the clients approval on each project.

Taykut obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and University of Illinois, respectively. Taykut is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Fundementals of Engineering (FE) Certification.
