Vanguard builds Frenchette Bakery at the Whitney Museum

Partnering with Keith Durst of FOC NYC and James Andrachuk of architecture firm Modellus Novus, Vanguard is renovating the restaurant space and kitchen at the Renzo Piano-designed Whitney Museum of American Art for restaurateurs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson to open their Frenchette Bakery flagship.

We are delighted to re-group with FOC NYC and MN, following our successful collaboration building the NYT-reviewed modern pizzeria, Mel’s, and the Two-Michelin-Star restaurant, Al Coro. Vanguard also worked with Keith Durst on the Lodi and Jupiter restaurants at Rockefeller Center
