NYP Herbert Irving Pavilion Flood Remediation 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th Floors

Following a sprinkler pipe break which flooded and severely damaged several occupied floors, we submitted a recovery plan the same day to immediately renovate the partially damaged 12th. Invited to restore over 75,000SF across additional floors, we jumped in to work quickly with New-York Presbyterian and Batska Consulting Group: removing walls to assess for mold infestation or establishing which service shaft walls required upgrades to current 3HR rating codes. We ordered 400 light fixtures, 10,000 square yards of vinyl flooring and 50,000SF of drywall boards to speedily re-build offices and treatment rooms the hospital requires to continuing servicing their patients. That Vanguard stepped up to complete this monumental task is how we service our clients.
