3,500SF Stem Cell Transplant ward required introducing negative air pressure and controlled air temperatures into patient bed units to minimize exposure to the immunosuppressed. Extensive HVAC modifications were supplemented by new sprinkler, FA, plumbing and electrical work. Rooms received new headboards with gas connections, a sink, and sliding architectural metal and glass doors. Scope included custom colorful vinyl flooring in the rooms and corridor, new bathrooms with toilets and showers, decorative tiles, lighting, ceilings, doors, and custom millwork at the monitoring and nurse call stations.
